Esta é a proposta do santuário dedicado a estes felinos que fica localizado na ilha de Syros, na Grécia.
Este santuário é um projeto privado, mas que ficou famoso em 2018, altura em que recrutou os primeiros cuidadores.
Na altura foram enviadas 35 mil candidaturas para tomar conta de mais de 50 gatos.
A oferta de trabalho inclui casa com jardim, renda e contas pagas, e ainda salário.
O horário de trabalho são quatro horas e dedicados a alimentar, medicar e acompanhar estes gatos.
Atualmente, este santuário tem 60 gatos, garantindo a comida e o acompanhamento médico destes animais.

We interviewed someone who did it: What kind of work do you do at the cat sanctuary. What is your schedule like in terms of work-life-balance? We feed the cats, clean their cages and sheds, give them medicine and lots of love of course. We work during the morning for around 4 hours and then in the evening we feed them again. I would say the schedule is quite relaxed, and there is a lot of free time to explore the island or go lay in the sun on the beach. It has been fulfilling and wholesome, and I would highly recommend it to any animal lover.
